What will I learn at this training?
At the Modo Flow Training, teachers will learn how to teach the Modo Flow series… one of our most popular class types.
You will also continue building on your foundational understanding of the practice, strengthening your anatomy knowledge, and refining your teaching skills through interactive exercises and one-on-one feedback sessions.
Elements of sequencing, and how to structure your classes around a specific theme, intention, or anatomical focus will also be explored.
More specifically, you will learn:
- Key Principles of Vinyasa
- History of Vinyasa
- Posture Workshops
- Basic Introduction to the Bandhas
- How to work on language use
- How to find the rhythm of vinyasa
- Class structures and themes
What are the prerequisites for this training?
To attend this training you must first complete the Modo Yoga Teacher Training. We also require that you have been teaching Modo Yoga for at least 1 year before taking this training.
Do I have to be a Modo Yoga Teacher to attend this training?
Yes. The Modo Yoga Teacher Training is a prerequisite to the Modo Flow Teacher Training. This foundational training gets you well acquainted with the Modo community, and introduces you to our values, our 6 pillars, and our best practices as Yoga Teachers.
How much is tuition and what does this include?
Tuition for this training is $1,400 CAD.
Accommodations, meals and flights are not included in your tuition.
PLEASE NOTE: This teacher training is non-refundable after 72 hours of purchase. If a refund is requested within 72 hours of purchase, funds will be returned less a $200 processing fee. After 72 hours of purchase, your training tuition becomes transferable only, and must be used within 2 years of purchase.
How much are accommodations at Amaru Resort?
Accommodations for the in-person portion of this training is $1,400 USD. This includes lodging and meals at Amaru Resort and an airport shuttle. This does not include your flight to Nicaragua.

What will the schedule be for this training?
Do I have to attend all lectures and classes at this training?
Yes. In order to graduate from the Modo Flow Teacher Training, and earn your certificate as a Modo Flow Teacher, you must attend all sessions, lectures, and classes during this session.
What is the required reading for this training?
There are 2 books on the required reading list.

Am I guaranteed a teaching position after I complete this training?
No.
The completion of the Modo Yoga Teacher Training does not guarantee you a teaching position at your local Modo Yoga Studio.
If you are interested in teaching at your local Modo Yoga Studio, we strongly recommend that you check in with your local studio owner to see if any opportunities are available.
With that being said, we empower trainees throughout the training to create their own teaching opportunities as an independent yoga teacher.
