I am so happy I took part in the eight week prenatal yoga course with Jen. It was so much more than a yoga course, Jen created a space for us all to share our experiences and an opportunity to make friends with other expectant mums, and dads. Many of us have kept in touch and are continuing the motherhood journey together. The pregnancy yoga practices Jen taught encouraged me to keep up a modified regular yoga practice throughout pregnancy and also provided me and my partner with some great tips for massage and breathing before and during labor. Jen is an experienced, calm and encouraging teacher and I highly recommend these classes.
This in-studio interactive prenatal course will prepare you for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery. Each class will intelligently guide you through a sequence safe for all stages of pregnancy, and the opportunity to connect with other parents-to-be. Childbirth education will be interwoven with breath-work, pelvic floor/core work and other strengthening techniques designed to help facilitate a deeper mind-body-baby awareness that will assist you in birth and beyond. In-studio classes are non-heated and will be at Modo Yoga Portland. No credits or refunds can be given for missed classes.

Jen is a certified Birth Doula, and trained in the Body Ready Method and Spinning Babies, and can provide private sessions which include a personal alignment analysis to identify any compensation patterns that may affect the birth process, along with a personalized exercise movement program tailored to your needs.
