Emily believes if you can breathe, you can practice yoga.
She connected with yoga 15 years ago as a way to feel at home and joyful in her body and now relies on yoga as a tool to navigate the everyday experience of living.
Emily acknowledges the ancient teachings and Indic origins of yoga and approaches instruction with a growth mindset and joyful reverence for the practice. With 200-hour yoga teacher training certifications from Maha Yoga and Modo Yoga, Emily emphasizes a balance of effort and ease in her classes.
Accessibility is a foundational piece of Emily’s approach, and she also enjoys guiding office Chair Yoga sessions for her colleagues at the education non-profit InsideTrack.
