When life became overwhelming, I explored you-tube yoga as a way to cope. I found it helpful, however I knew I should start to practice at a yoga studio. I came to Modo Yoga San Diego when they first opened, but it took me a whole year to decide that I was worth it, and commit to a membership! Once I started I never looked back, and as I began to practice more regularly I became increasingly more grounded and focused.
I began my teaching journey in 2021, becoming certified in yoga for trauma. Having been through some tough circumstances myself, I deeply wanted to create yoga classes that would do for others what yoga has done for me.
